Born to parents, both working in education, Tambra Cherie knew the importance of an
educational background.  She graduated from Jackson State University with a Masters
degree in Business Administration and Bachelor’s degree in Business Management
and Marketing. Tambra discovered her passion for media hosting and the entertain-
ment industry at a very early age.  It was during an internship with WRJH
(Jackson MS-2002), she began to live her dream and fulfill her goals within the enter-
tainment industry.  Her love for people and radio quickly grew into love for people,
radio, and television.  Her passion for people and community service sparked her
interest and ultimately her call to membership with the Gamma Rho Chapter of
Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. 

Tambra Cherie has hosted various television productions and is the host and
producer of the #1 entertainment show in Mississippi and Louisiana, Admission
Granted. Admission Granted has aired on The CW, UPN and CBS affiliates. Tambra
Cherie’s interview guest roster includes a multitude of Comedians, R&B, Rock and
Rap Artists, Entertainers, and Moguls including, Hip Hop pioneer, Russell Simmons.

Tambra Cherie has covered countless major events and tours including The
BET Awards, The 50th Annual Grammy Awards, The Ozone Awards, The Essence
Music Festival, NBA All-Star, and Vibe Musicfest. Tambra Cherie has previously
performed duties as a contributing writer for the most widely read Internet hip hop
entity in the world, AllHipHop.com. Her interviews with artists including Kirk Franklin,
Yolanda Adams, Kenny Lattimore and Chante Moore, Take 6, Yummy Bingham and
